About Me

I completed BS Mathematics degree in the period 2016 – 2020 at University of Swat, Pakistan under the supervision of Prof. dr. Amir Khan. For master’s degree program (Master of Science in Mathematics), I earned a fully funded scholarship at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China in the period 2021 – 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Leng Jinsong. In the duration of my MSc program, I have earned two awards: First prize in Academic Achievement Award in the School of Mathematical Sciences – SMS at UESTC based on academic achievements in 2022. Furthermore, I obtained a Second rank Award for Outstanding Graduate Student at university in 2022. During my BSC and MSc programs, I have worked in the area of Mathematical Biology, including computational and mathematical analysis of infection spread. I published several research papers and established international research collaborations (see publication list). At IPPT PAN I am employed as a researcher on the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) titled “Systems biology analysis of multi-scale innate immune defences against bacterial pathogens” under the supervision of Prof. Paweł Paszek. I joined TIB PAN on February 22, 2025, working in collaboration with dr. Juan Redondo who is responsible for implementation of experimental work, while I am responsible for the computational and mathematical analysis of the data. Furthermore, I am also involved in a research collaboration with dr. Vishma Pratap Sur, MSCF/ERA Fellow from our laboratory, my role is the implementation of machine learning algorithms for the validation of antibacterial peptides. Currently, I am enrolled in courses: Statistics and Data analysis, advance methods in machine learning, Biopolymers in regenerative medicine, Fundamentals of intellectual property law for scientists and finally, I have two seminars to present in second semester.
